We
are organized and operated exclusively for charitable,
religious, educational and scientific purposes, including
for such purposes, the making of contributions to organizations
that qualify as exempt organizations under Section 501(C)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code. Our objectives are to:
- Promote, encourage and foster unity among Akwa Ibom residents
in the United States and at home.
- Promote economic, educational, cultural, and social needs
as well as progress of Akwa Ibom State people within the framework
of one Nigeria.
- Cooperate with and support all Nigerian Students Unions
in the Americas, and encourage the members of the Association
to join the Nigerian Students Unions in the promoting the
interest of one Nigeria at home and abroad.
- Support morally, financially and otherwise, the educational
and other aspirations of the people of Akwa Ibom State of
Nigeria, provided these aspirations are in the best interest
of Akwa Ibom State of Nigeria and its people.
- Encourage interpersonal relations and cooperation among
members, and our children to know and recognize one another.
